These images were done during the class I taught in May at Texas School of Professional Photography. I spent a week there teaching portraiture, it was fantastic. My students were amazing!

Recent Family Session
The studio changes every week, its amazing!This session is shot in several locations on the grounds and its just amazing to me how different each area looks! This type of session is perfect for a wall grouping of multiple images. I have a book with about 100+ different grouping ideas for the wall and stairwell and of course you can always bring in an image fromyour house and we can design a wall grouping for that space. Some groupings can be smaller images framed in the same or similar styles (or dont frame them and print these as wraps or Art Blox) and colors or some sessions (like this one) lend themselves to be a collection of larger images such as a 20x20 with several 12x12s grouped around it. Nows the time to do these sessions, its already hot outside, don't wait too long!

Mommy & Me Session for Father's Day!!
Had to post it again, GREAT idea for dad, a session of his favorite people in a beautiful print, album or wall portrait. Book today! Theres not much time left to get these back in time! (See April Blog post for some ideas!
MORE Models needed
Ok so I sent the last call out a little prematurely because I got too busy right before leaving to teach so I am still taking newborns for models but I also need a couple of more:
1. Newborns: need a boy & girl. Boy of any size, girl preferably small, like under 9 pounds under 3 weeks old (both)
2. Need a girl 2-4 yrs old for a ballerina pose for a new product I am launching which is top secret so I can't tell you what it is on here, but will tell you if you have a girlie for me to pose.
3. Still need a tatood daddy with newborn...ask around! :)
Models receive a free creative session & a $50 gift certificate to use towards pictures or anything they want, plus 25% off additional gift sized prints, 15% off frames, wraps and wall portraits.

It's time for Spring Portraits!
The flowers are out and teh studio is lovely especially late in the day. We have limited times available for Spring portraits, so call today and book your session. We are typically shooting around 6-6:30 pm for that warm, yummy light. Bring your dog or horse even!

Re-Announcing a New Frame line we are offering
Hi all! As promised I have new products that are coming out this month. This past week while i was teaching in Dallas, I had the chance to hang out with one of my favorite vendors, Wild Sorbet. Her frames are all handmade, handpainted and completely customizable. They are on the high side pricing wise, but that is because of the uniquness of her product and the fact that we can customize it to any decor. Her frames used to be only whimsical, polka dots, stripes etc, but they have expended now to also include a more sophisticated line (which still leans toward the whimsical) but will go with a more formal room as well. I'm baaaaack!
Just got back from a whirlwind teaching gig, well 2 of them actually, one in Georgia at the Georgia State Convention and the other was as an Instructor at the Texas School of Professional Photography, the biggest pro school in the nation! It was such an honor, I have gone for many, many years as an attendee, so to be asked to present was a huge honor to me. The class was amazing but I am a little too old, I have found, to pull of 20 hours days anymore...especially 5 of them! I had a blast and came back inspired by my fellow instructors and my students. It was amazing..so watch for some new ideas, inspirations and products coming soon!! I already have samples made or making!
I also wanted to share a song that touched my heart, one of my favorite instructors played this during a program he gave and it brought me to tears because it truly shows why I do what I do so I hope you'll take a minute to watch it. I'm not normally a big country music fan, well I have an eclectic music mix, but this one is great.
