Had to share a few of these, these are from a model session we did recently. It is SO cute and is made from jersey material so very cool and comfy. The two other hats are new props I have made recently that have a soft vintage feel to them! And all of these shots were done with natural light in my studio, I was playing with existing light and I have found so many places I can shoot different "looks", its fabulous!

Model Call

Ok, so we had several models step up for the last model call, but I only got to use 2 of them and now I need MORE, so please send this to anyone who you think might fit the bill and needs some portraits! For all info please email me at sppjen@aol.com

Here's how it works:

Session: I have complete control of the design of the session although I can send you some ideas that I will be working with so you know if the look is "right" for you. If there are any specific shots you want and I can do them, I will incorporate them, but please ask me ahead of time so I can tell you if that will fit in with what I am trying to do.

Location: Sessions are in my studio in Liberty Hill which is West of Georgetown about 15 miles and north of Leander...please look at it ahead of time and be sure you can commit to the drive and time.

Compensation: I have designed my model calls to be saleable images for people as well as marketing for me. That means that I want people to come in that are in need of portraits but who either want to "try me out" first, or possibly have budgetary issues that would normally keep them from coming in. So, what you will receive is a free session that will last anywhere from 1-2 hours (possibly more for newborns) you will receive a $50 gift certificate towards portraits or Framed Collections (may not be used for birth announcements) PLUS as long as you order within 7 days you will save 20% off of my normal pricing (Standard Pricing) or 10% off of my Watch Me Grow or Baby Club pricing.

CURRENT "NEEDS"

Newborn: I have several needs for the newborns, but I'm trying to keep a few things "under wraps" until they are ready for release and really I need all sizes and either boy or girl will work so email me at sppjen@aol.com if you are interested or know someone who is! I particularly needs a VERY small baby for a special shot I want to do, preemie or just tiny, I work with a lot of preemie babies and special needs, so you can feel safe coming in for this shot.

I also am still looking for a tattooed daddy and newborn. They don't have to be related, this is a personal project for me so if you know a heavily tattooed, physically fit man, have him email me for details. I'm looking for tats that are not scary looking so none that are too "dark" in nature, vintage is great, tribal great, Christian awesome! I would love something that spreads across the whole back if possible.

Maternity: Looking for someone who's showing well for an outside shoot which means HOT weather so they have to be able to be outside for the shoot. We'll be shooting late in the day, outside with wraps and more casual clothing, broomstick skirts that kind of thing. Can't be too shy, we are outside and tummy will be showing although my shooting area is fairly private it does back to a horse ranch and there are sometimes people out. The PeePee TeePee - Anyone with a baby boy must have one!

I saw this online and had to share, in all of my years of photographing baby boys, you'd think I would have come up with this..brilliant!! This is a great shower gift for someone having a new baby too!

Your Child - As Art

Just working on an image I wanted to share, this will be a sample at the studio, I can't decide if I'll print it as a wrap or an Art Blox. I also created a piece of "Digital Paper" from this image, I just thought it was cool, might be a page on a website or a flyer some day....

Fabulous Model Session from Today

Just had to share a couple of my favorite images from today's model session. These shots were actually done after the shots I needed for the model call (more on that later, but these shots have spurred an idea for another series..more later on that as well). I love the simplicity of them and the joyous, childhood feel to them. I'm always so taken by how simple things bring such joy to children. These girls just made my heart sing, they are precious and SO sweet (as is their mom), thanks Anne for letting me play!
