Wildflower Portraits & Specials for May

I can not believe it's May already! The rain has brought us an amazing sea of wildflowers and grasses and its just amazingly beautiful. This is THE perfect time for family portraits, the flowers are already starting to lose their leaves and with the storms coming through, I'm not sure how long they will last, so I encourage you to come in soon and lets create a gorgeous heirloom for your family! How about taking the couch above out to the field? What a beautiful & unique portrait that would be!

NOTE: Outdoor sessions are best scheduled at approximately 6:30pm, so you'll need to plan travel and dinner around that time. I can only do 1 session per weekday evening so call ASAP as there is limited availability on these! $99+tax Session fee is payable at the time of booking, sessions last up to 2 hours, with up to 5 people and will include many breakouts.

I went for a walk this morning on our property, my new dedication to fitness, and realized that I had not wandered our property in a very long time, it's GORGEOUS right now! I LOVE this time of year, First Communion Portraits, Prom & Seniors galore! I have found some new spots to shoot at on location and we are working on the studio to get all of our shooting areas up and ready. Nows the time to schedule!!

The Bunnys are Back!! Friday March 5 & Saturday March 6th

Sugar & Spice are so excited to meet your little ones in our annual "Bunny Portraits"! Yes its that time again, book today as sessions are limited. This year you will have 2 options for sets, either our "Spring Theme" with real flowers and plants (and some veggies of course) or pictures in our new "White Room" for a clean contemporary look. We'll have white furniture and even the bunny will be white (Sugar)! Clothing can be white for a monochromatic feel or bright colors for a fun "pop!" of color. We will offer a pre-set package for these sessions with special "Add-Ons" available when you view the images. Order will be done online and I will have Easter/Spring greeting cards available as well.

Bunny Package includes: 30 Minute Session 1-2 children (3+ children add $10 per child). The portrait package includes 2-5x7s, 4-4x5s & the digital file of your image (1 pose, sorry no substitutions). Price: $99.00 + tax (Reg Price: $200+!) S & H: $5 to ship (Packages are Pre Paid to Reserve your session spot.

Outside Update

Well this weather is certainly very "Texas", who knows what each day & night will hold!? Unfortunately it also means that we are in a holding pattern for outdoor sessions, it's certainly warm enough but the grass & bushes have not filled in yet, but its coming! Because of the limited number of sessions i am able to do these days, our outdoor sessions will be very limited due to teh times that work in our gardens, so if you are interested, please book early.

Bluebonnets - This year does not look good, they need water and of course we've had none to speak of. Im keeping an eye n my favorite field and if theres a chance, I'll post it here. If you are itnerested in BBs please call the studio and get on the waiting list. Please remember that BBs are "Limited Edition" sessions which means a higher session fee and minimum order, that is because I have to bring an asst. and we typically shoot after hours so it costs me more to do them. We are also out of th estudio fo rmuch longer than normal.
