New Frames

Hi all, as promised here are some of our new frames. The frames on the display tree (which you can come to the studio to see) are gorgeous "Paige Pea Designs" frames. She is an interior designer turned photographer who created a whole grouping design concept called "Wall Spaces" groupsing many different sized prints with coordinating frames. We have over 100 different groupsings which we will be calling "Wall Stories", a better match for my "storytelling" style of photography. I am SO excited to offer these frames, each one is hand made and can be matched to you decor with tons of different colors and patterns. The more whimsical polk dots and stripes are from "Wild Sorbet" and are also handmade, custom frames. These are a few samples of colors, but there are tons of different colors you can chose from or go with simple distressed woods or metallics. If you would like to think about ordering some of these frames, give us a call and we'll schedule you for a "Framing Consultation" with Jen or Angie. Or better yet...lets shoot a whole session based around these frames!

Sweet Pea's First Baby is Born!

Welcome to Baby "J"! He was born this week at Seton Williamson and was the perfect first baby to work with! He was beautiful and slept through the whole session (which was longer than normal of course because, well you guys know me, I can't stop shooting when they are cooperating so well!) Angie and I had so much fun with him and look forward to the next SMCW babies!

Our new frames are here!

Ok, I'll post pictures in the next day or so but we are carrying 2 new lines of frames that I am SO excited about! They are handmade and each one is unique, they are very whimsical and perfect for both a child/baby's room or your living spaces! One line really is very whimsical with polka dots, stripes and bright fun colors, SO cute! They even have what they call a "Crib Frame" which is 15 x 36 and perfect to fit right over the crib. They show it in a lime green and pink, SO cute! The other line is what I call "Whimsy Chic" meaning that its a litle less cutsie and will fit perfectly in more formal living spaces, shabby chic areas, dining rooms, even bathrooms and kitchens! They have patterns that are a little more classic with TONS of gorgeous colors including soem beautiful metalics. You have to see them to appreciate them. One of the companies has also designed an entire book on laying out beautioful groupings in your home. The author is a photographer and interior designer so it takes all of the guess work out of it. She has even included stairwells! Each frame is custom designed with your colors and style and the layout is all set for you including instructions on hanging them! Keep an eye out for these, they are sure to be a huge hit so make sure youre the first one to have one!

Modeling Sessions & Our updated website

Hi all, first of all if you havent visited our galleries on the main website in a while, take a look. We've updated them with many new images and it s a great way to plan your next sesson.

Im excited to say that we will be starting our modeling sessions this week, if you did not receive an email about it, go to our main website and sign up for the newsletter. I put out a call abou a week ago and the response has been so tremendous that we had to move sessions to this week. Im still trying to figure out where to put people! Some of the sets you'll be seeing soon are:

* French Cafe: an outdoor set on our back porch complete with retro pink & black Cafe sign. Bring your pink poodle and sunglasses, this will be SO cute!

* Boxer Boy: Retro kids boxing gloves and silk shorts, we'll be setting up a "ring" with our hardwood floors for some fun images.

* Day at the Beauty Parlor: If you love some of the Gail Goodwin greeting cards with reto hair dryers and fun dressup, you'll love these sessions. I found a pink hairdryer, some fun glasses, curlers now all I need is a cool retro "starburst clock" and we'll be set...c'mon Ebay!

* Shabby Chic: Old prom dresses mixed with the outside, two elements not usually seen together...very fun sessions for our "tweens". Lets see if I can drag our victorian couch out into the grass....hmmm....

Stay tuned, we'll be posting images as we have them!

Scrapbook pages & Petti Skirts

Hi there, we've been so crazy I haven't had time to update my BLOG. Seton Williamson is now open for patients so we're just waiting to hear if we have babies yet :) So far its been quiet there.

I was looking through my Feedburner stats which is the services that manages my email notifications and I noticed a lot of people Googling scrappbook pages and petti skirts/childrens clothing and ending up at my Blog, which is great! But probably not if you are trying to buy them :) So, for those who find there way here because of that, here are 2 of my favorite links for those things:

Scrapbook Pages: www.designerdigitals.com

Petti Skirts: http://www.shopbabyposh.com/

Great places to find both! And if you want beautiful portraits of them and for them, come see me! :) he heee

For the girls we have a few red dresses, pink petti skirts, bows and flowers. Such a fun shot to do! This is a great session for brothers and sisters to do! I'm looking for a picture to post but I think you get the idea.

Pricing: Associate Pricing
